SELL YOUR ITEMS:

As an attendee you have several options available to you should you wish to sell your racing collectibles.

A. you can sell your items to booth holders in the building or,

B. for maximum exposure and price, submit them for the auction which will be held on Saturday beginning at 4:00. A small Seller’s Commission will be charged and 100% of those commission proceeds will go to Riley Hospital for Children. (The Auction Submission booth is located in the space at the far east side of the hall near the restroom hallway.) The auction will be conducted by professional auctioneer Earl Cornwell of Earl's.

No Reserve Auction fee- 10%; Reserve Auction fee- 15%

The three items submitted for the auction include: race-driven driving suits of Gordon Johncock and 4-time winners Al Unser, Sr. and A.J. Foyt. All three suits are from the late 70s. Also submitted is a 1923 trophy given to Tommy Milton.

An example of a sample auction transaction: You place your item in the auction with no reserve price. It sells for $350. Riley will receive $35 and you will receive $315.

A second example: you place your item in the auction with a $250 reserve. The item starts at $150. It sells for $400. Riley receives $60 and you receive $340.

AUCTION:

If you are attending the auction and wish to place bids you will need to register prior to the 4:00 Saturday start.

Auction payments will basically be in cash only.

If you win an item and do not have available cash, you can pay a 20% non-refundable deposit. The balance can be paid via check or money order. Your item will then be sent to you. You will also need to pay a shipping/handling fee.

If you are consigning items you will be sent a check within 7 days if the item has been paid in full by the Buyer. If the Buyer is paying the balance via check, you will receive payment as soon as that payment clears. Thank you for your cooperation and helping Riley Hospital.
